Information	Full Name: Ladislava Fricova Bohacova Nationality: Czech Republic My work is a symbiosis of my Czech heritage, international education (esp. the International Baccalaureate Diploma), and the influence of my Asian muses. Asian culture and visual style has soaked into my work on a subconscious level because of my experience of living in India, Indonesia, Nepal, Myanmar, and Thailand. Travelling all over the world and growing up in all these places is what accounts for my particular style of work as well as my general outlook on life. I have incorporated all this into my unconventional concept of home, similar to a snail carrying its shell wherever it goes. These experiences have allowed me to feel right at home in far off places and around people of different cultures and backgrounds. My creative practice is a mix of merging disciplines, spanning across fine art, graphic design and illustration. I entered university with a fine art background and went on to study Graphic Design (with some illustration mixed into it) at BA level. The idea of being a ‘Creative’ has fascinated me from the first time I heard it, because it means allowing yourself the freedom to work across various disciplines, on all types of projects.
